He Who Continues
Omoron is not merely a king. He is a survivor who became an empire because survival alone could not satisfy the wound inside him. He began as a nobody from a dead far universe, became the vessel for the salt-grief of an extinct people, and found the Brine Crown — which did not simply make him immortal, but gave his madness structure, hunger, law, and purpose. His central contradiction is simple and terrible: he truly believes memory must be gathered before it is lost, yet he preserves memory by consuming the people who carry it. His deepest sin is that he calls consumption continuity.
