Their species, the Astralith, are intentionally beautiful, with swept ears and eyes that shine gold under emotion; among them, beauty is a language, a weapon, a courtesy, and sometimes a prison.
They command the strongest fleet in the Crowned Veil because they alone can bond the Voidweavers — through emotional salt and a three-pilot neuro-link, where stable control of a single living ship requires three Synthers operating as one shared emotional circuit. The bond is not piloting. It is shared want.
